  • Conducted outreach and consultation, and initiated research and policy collaborations with grassroots organizations advocating against racism and poverty and serving GLBT people of color and low-income people.
  • Identified and worked with social scientists, community based organizations, and governmental bodies to conduct collaborative research projects.
  • Wrote, edited and produced reports, policy analyses, briefing papers, op-ed pieces, fact sheets and other materials on issues of racial and economic justice in GLBT communities.
  • Oversaw the work of Research Fellows and Interns working on the Racial and Economic Justice Initiative.
  • Engaged in public speaking and workshop presentations at academic and
    community-based conferences.
